The easiest way to slice an avocado it is to do so while it’s still in its shell and then gently scoop the slices out with a spoon.
If you are using only half avocado you can conserve the other half in the fridge by using little tricks. You can both cover it all up with plastic wrap or else brush lemon juice or olive oil on the surface.
You can season this salad with balsamic vinegar of Modena, or just olive oil.
Spring is finally here!
The weather is finally becoming relatively worm here in Toronto. Yes, we had snow yesterday, but considering the Canadian winter the weather was “nice”. With the spring also the salad season starts in my house! Time to get back in shape but still keep enjoying life and food though! I made this salad for the first time last week. It was something completely different than what I am used to. I am a sweet tooth and so this was the perfect salad for me! It is refreshing, sweet, and, more important, so easy to make! Hope you guys enjoy!
Wash the baby spinach, almond, blueberries, and strawberries.
- Slice half of an avocado, slice the strawberries and cut in half each almond (long side).
- Add all the ingredients in a bowl and mix them up. ENJOY!
